Binita travelled back to Bangladesh to meet the Muslim man who as a young boy had risked his life to smuggle her father’s family to safety following the communal violence that arised following the Partition.
Also at the event were Dr. Anindita Ghosh who provided a brief background of Partition and Aisha Mirza who shared her family’s experience which she has now penned as a book.
